We're incredibly grateful to Ottawa 2017 for selecting Habitat GO as one of the recipients of the 2017 Civic Funding Program. We were able to hold a fantastic Neighbourhood Block Party in Orleans on Sunday, July 9 to kick-off the Carter Work Project and celebrate Canada's Sesquicentennial!
Big thanks to Tracy from the Smile Factory for her beautiful and detailed face paintings, Brian, a.k.a. The Cow Guy, for his amazing balloon creations, everyone from the Lyon Street Celtic Band for keeping us dancing, Marlene and her team at The Merry Dairy for their delicious ice cream and everyone from Tumblers Gymnastics Centre for bringing their interactive tumbling circuit.
We're also very thankful for our outstanding Habitat GO volunteers, future and current Habitat homeowners and our dedicated staff and their family members who made this event so much fun. Thank you to everyone who attended and made this party one to remember!
